The Course

Copper Cove Golf Club was designed in 1989 by Russell Breeden, a Virginia native with nearly 100 course designs to his credit. It's a challenging course for players of all levels and requires a mix of distance and accuracy.

The first hole eases you into the 6,511 yard course without too much difficulty, but soon things get a little tougher with tight holes cout out of the woods and a green that sits by one of Smith Mountain Lake's many peaceful coves and beautiful inlets.

The remainder of the course presents beautiful and challenging combinations of downhill tee shots and double doglegs, plus an irresistable opportunity or two for heavy hitters to open up.
